Tweet Nothings: Bronz Zoo Cobra Found On Twitter

So, the Bronx Zoo’s cobra is missing.

How that happens, I don’t know.

Who loses a 20-in Egyptian cobra? I mean, really?

It just so happens that although the reptile is hiding from officials, he has made his presence known via Twitter.

Yep. TWITTER.

Okay, so maybe it is not the really, real cobra but a comedic snake impersonator is on a whirlwind virtual tour of New York and is providing commentary via 140 characters along the way.

Charlie Sheen and Lady Gaga have some new competition. Seems like @bronxzoocobra is definitely #winning the Twitter war.

As for the real missing reptile, staff at the Bronx Zoo believe it to be hiding somewhere inside the reptile house. They say that it could be weeks before they find it.

Take your time fellas, the Twitter version is tons more fun!

 

UPDATE: It seems the "Bronx Zookeeper" is also on Twitter giving updates of his own. A couple of golden nuggets:
