Ben Rudnick and Friends have been bringing families, music, and fun together in their own unique style for over a decade. Their enthusiastic recordings and live performances seamlessly range from light folk, bluegrass, calypso, rock and even Irish Jigs. With countless kudos to their credit, including five Parents’ Choice Awards, the band considers its main focus to be providing a common ground where all family members can enjoy a shared musical experience. Drawing on the original songs and traditional material from their recordings, the band seamlessly integrates classic songs such as “Route 66,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and Beatles’ tunes into their sets to entertain fans of all ages. This performance is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, in the Baker Park Bandshell.

All Summerfest Family Theatre performances are free to the public, but the Summerfest Family Theatre Committee encourages you to bring a canned food item in lieu of admission. All items collected benefit the Frederick Food Bank.

The performance is weather permitting, in the event of inclement weather please visit www.celebratefrederick.com for news of event cancellations. Decisions regarding weather are made approximately by 10 a.m.; therefore if weather is inclement at this time, please visit our website.
